Course Description: This course continues to build on the communicative skills introduced in Spanish I. Through the use of student interaction, teacher-directed activities, DVD’s, CD-Rom, videos and other multi-sensory activities, the students continue to improve their reading, writing, listening comprehension and speaking skills. The goal is to expand the vocabulary and grammatical foundation to the level needed to survive in a Spanish-speaking country. Readings include text-based selections and authentic materials. Writings are guided through learned vocabulary and grammatical structures. Workbook suggested.

Assessment/Evaluation Procedures:
Grades are calculated on the basis of cumulative points. Points will be assigned for paper and pencil tests, projects, skits, oral/aural tests, recitations, dictations and papers. Note* Quizzes may be unannounced
